A Firm Understanding

of Traffic/DWI

Do not pay off your ticket: Paying off your ticket results in a conviction for that offense. If you are convicted of certain motor vehicle violations in North Carolina, driver license points are placed against your driving record. In most cases this will result in an increase your insurance costs. Your license can even be revoked or suspended. Whatever motor vehicle infraction you are charged with, EnnisColeman can help. Put an experienced attorney to work for you to keep your insurance rates, and driver's license points, low.
If you accumulate enough points, your license may be suspended.

If your driver license is suspended by the point system, it may be taken for:

  • 60 days for the first suspension;
  • 6 months for the second; and
  • 12 months for the third.
